Governor Spencer Cox betrayed educators in Utah once again by signing HB 265, causing a ripple effect that slashed budgets at colleges and universities all throughout the state. Dozens of majors, minors, and certificates have been removed from Weber State’s roster for the coming school year.

WE, THE PEOPLE reject this blatant overreach by Utah’s legislative and executive branches. Public universities and colleges are owed institutional autonomy and academic freedom.
